Bf 2 Aix Map Pack
Hello guys!
After few years I back to Battlefield 2 and I would like to check some mods (mainly for new weapons). AIX2 seems awesome, but I can't even start game / server. Ie, 'game' as 'application' starts, but when I'm trying to start server, Battlefield crashes immediately. Without any message, error or something, just like 'quit to desktop'.
I'm asking here because today there is lack of informations about AIX troubleshooting and official site is down. I can't find solutions over internet, and there is no readme or manual file :( Maybe just I'm starting AIX in wrong way? What could I do to fix this issue?
I have very poor internet connection (big house for students rent, 10MB net for 22 persons; slow transmission is one thing, but frequent disconnectes really bothers me) so I can't just download different patches / mod files for checking different cases.
I have version from moddb here but I found recently this site which hosts few additional files (Battlefield 2: AIX 2.0 - Patch [920MB])
I have old, standalone release of BF. Version 1.0 so I can check thing both 1.41 patch and 1.5.
'Clean', unmodded game works like a charm.
So, have you guys some advices? Best regards, Ved

What is this ?
This is a replacement for the default Spawn Points and a slightly modification to the balance
for large battles (a funny amout is with something between 85-125 bots) for the Custom AIX2 Map
'SF Highway Tampa'.
In details it means that the MEC Airport in the north is now the US Base, the US Base in the
east is now a MEC base. The Units are mostly the same like before, just changed the MEC
Transport Helicopters in the northern Airfield to US UH-1D Transport Helicopters.
How to Install:
First of all - this is not the complete map you have to get the 'SF Highway Tampa' (Singleplayer Map
by Sovereign Forces) first (part of a AIX map pack). It's just a replacement/modification of existing
files.
After you have installed the '=SF= Highway Tampa' Map make a backup of the SF_TAMPA Folder
(you could find it for example in 'C:GamesSteamSteamAppscommonBattlefield 2mods
AIX2Levels' or whatever path you have installed BF2/AIX2.
Extract the Files from the SF-Tampa-Reverse.zip File to a new folder, open the 'server.zip' inside
the SF_TAMPA Folder and replace all with the files out of your new folder.
If you are asked to replace existing files choose yes.
Close/Save the 'Server.zip', start the game and have fun :)
