Stronghold Vs Age Of Empires

Posted on by  admin

Oct 07, 2002  Well, Age of Empires is great, the first one and it's exp were fantastic, but I eventually put it up. Early childhood education wsq. As for AoK, it kept me interested for awhile but there wasn't much random factor so I got tired of it. Stronghold is good too, since you can build all sorts of castles and terrains I play it all the time.

  • I use to play Stronghold: Crusader A LOT although I never got very good at it haha. But I am wanting to play an updated game like it and I saw Steam has Age of Empires III: Complete Edition for $20.
  • Age of empires has naval battles which adds a different level of strategy. The only thing remotely close to that in stronghold is the pittish boat warriors. The multiplayer in age of empire 3 is much better than stronghold.

StrongholdStronghold vs age of empires 1 is a technology in Age of Empires II: The ForgottenStronghold Vs Age Of EmpiresStronghold Vs Age Of Empires that is unique to the Celts and can be researched at the Castle. Once researched, Castles and Towers fire 25% faster.

Strategy Edit

With Strongholds, the mediocre defensive capabilities of Celts become much stronger. Unfortunately, most of the troops who dare besiege a Castle are already either virtually immune to arrow fire, or simply outrange the Castle. Nevertheless, Stronghold is generally a worthwhile technology. It is especially strong against ships, since Celts also get Heated Shot.
