Fallout 4 suffers from an issue I never thought I’d see in a Fallout game: I legit just don’t care about any of the factions. The narrative is so weak, the story telling so bland, and the characters are (mostly) uninteresting to me. I legitimately don’t care about the Institute, The Railroad, The Minutemen, or to my great surprise, The Brotherhood of Steel. The only companions I like are Dogmeat and Valentine. I know I’m pretty late on the swing here, but I only recently picked up FO4 despite being a longtime fan of the series. I guess I’m just venting. The gameplay itself is fine, but it seems like I’m hitting that bump everyone else seems to hit playing this game.
